some snapshots of Christmas

Ryan's class sang a really entertaining song about
old shoes, snakes, mice, etc at his Christmas program.
Since Grandma Jean was tickled by the song,
he gave her a box of such goodies.

How can this be the best group shot?
Well, it is. Hah

Yay! She kept that bow in for at least two minutes!
That's about the longest record of 2013.

All Aboard!

"All Aboard," the conductor cried out...
"Why to the North Pole of course.
This is the Polar Express."

"Tickets please.! Tickets!"

He punched them nice and dramatically too!

One of the hot cocoa chefs
sharing the famous story.

Drinking hot cocoa
"as thick and rich as melted candy bars,"
as the Polar Express raced northward.
These are the expressions when
Santa announced that each child
would receive one of the prized jingle bells!

receiving their bells from Santa!

Natalie soaked the event in
and was delighted with the bell.

Time to go home,
heads spinning with sugar and excitement.

Natalie saw us get the camera so
she walked herself over to a Christmas background,
posed, and said cheese.

O Christmas Tree

love how Natalie got right in on the action

Wouldn't we all love to know that conversation?

Ryan and Danny did the ornament hanging
while Natalie was asleep.
She's getting a look at their work
and finding it pleasing!

Thanksgiving

Madeline has become a rockstar reader.
Here she is flawlessly reading a special blessing
 before our Thanksgiving dinner.
Ryan who is on the verge of word explosion himself
watches with admiration.
Natalie happy to have Gigi and Papa all to herself.

Gigi guides the grandkids in a

Meanwhile, Natalie couldn't get enough
of squealing "BABY!" at her ornament.
Jammy Time!
